When you are charged
When you fund a milestone. The money leaves your payment method at that point and is held in escrow. It has not been paid to the expert, and it will not be until you approve.
What you are charged
The milestone fee, plus any payment-provider processing fee, itemised before you confirm. Researchor's service fee is taken from the amount released to the expert, not added on top of yours, and both figures are shown before you fund.
Payment methods
Card and bank payment through our payment providers. Researchor does not store your full card number. Manage saved methods under Payment.
Currency
If you and the expert transact in different currencies, conversion applies and the rate used is shown before you confirm.
Seeing what you paid
Every movement appears in Transaction History, with a receipt and invoice per transaction.
