Researchor charges a service fee on each released milestone.
When you see it
Before you commit. The fee is shown to the client before they fund a milestone and to the expert before they accept an offer. The expert sees the net figure they will actually receive.
We will not introduce a fee that was not disclosed before the transaction it applies to.
Who pays it
It is taken from the amount released to the expert rather than added on top of the client's payment. Both figures are visible to both parties.
Other charges
- Payment-provider processing fees on funding, itemised at payment.
- Payout fees on withdrawal, shown before you confirm.
- Currency conversion, where client and expert transact in different currencies, at the rate shown before confirmation.
These are provider charges, not Researchor revenue.
Off-platform
Taking a transaction off Researchor to avoid the fee removes escrow, screening and dispute protection, and breaches the Terms of Service.
