Adding a payout account
Choose Bank Account or PayPal and complete the fields. The name on the payout account should match the name on your Researchor account. Where it does not, we may ask you to explain before releasing funds.
You can save more than one account and delete any you no longer use.
Making a withdrawal
- Choose the account.
- Enter the amount, up to your available balance.
- Review the summary: the amount, any charges, and the total.
- Confirm.
Charges are shown before you confirm. There are no charges applied afterwards.
Timing
Depends on the method and provider. Payouts to a bank account usually arrive within a few business days, depending on your bank and country.
Held funds
Money in escrow against unapproved milestones is not part of your available balance. It becomes available on approval.
Identity checks
A payout above a regulatory threshold may require identity verification. We will tell you what is needed before it blocks anything.
