Report anything that breaches the rules. Reports are how the platform stays usable.
What to report
- Requests for academic misconduct
- Attempts to move a transaction off-platform
- Misrepresented qualifications
- Harassment, threats or discrimination
- Suspected fraud or a compromised account
- Content shared without the right to share it
How
Use the Report action on a project or a profile, or write to support with the project or offer ID. Say what happened and include the specifics: the message, the request, the claim.
What happens
We review against the Terms of Service and the Academic Integrity Policy. We may ask you for more information. Outcomes range from a warning to permanent closure.
Reporters are not identified to the reported party.
Reporting is not a dispute
A report is about conduct. A dispute is about money on a specific milestone. If a delivery is unsatisfactory *and* the conduct breached the rules, do both.
Bad-faith reports
Reporting someone to gain leverage in a negotiation is itself a breach.
