Some projects cannot be posted on Researchor whatever the budget.
Never allowed
- Work the client intends to submit as their own: coursework, assignments, theses, dissertations.
- Exams, tests or timed assessments, sat or completed for someone else.
- Fabricated data, participants, samples or results.
- Fabricated or unverified references.
- Work designed to reach a predetermined conclusion.
- Buying or selling authorship.
- Work involving human or animal subjects without the required ethical approval.
- Work requiring personal data the client is not authorised to share.
- Anything illegal.
If you are a client
Posting one of these breaches the Terms of Service and can close your account. If you need help with your own work, ask for the help: tutoring on a method, feedback on your draft, analysis you will then interpret and write up yourself. Those are allowed and are what the platform is for.
If you are an expert
Decline it. You are required to, whatever the fee, even when the client proposed it. Then report it. Declining quietly leaves the request live for someone else.
You do not need to justify a decline at length. "This falls outside Researchor's Academic Guidelines" is sufficient.
Reporting
Use the report action on the project, or write to support. Reports are reviewed and reporters are not identified to the reported party.
