Researchor has two roles, and they see different applications.
Client
A client posts projects, reviews proposals, hires experts, funds escrow, reviews deliverables and releases payment. The client application has Projects, Project Submissions, AI Matching, Experts, Payment, Notifications and Settings.
Expert
An expert receives and responds to offers, manages active projects, submits deliverables, and withdraws earnings. The expert application has Projects, Project Submissions, Bank Details, Notifications and Settings, plus a Preferences panel controlling which projects reach them.
Can one person be both?
Not on a single account today. A researcher who also commissions work, which is common, needs a separate account with a separate email address for the second role.
We know this is awkward for people who genuinely operate on both sides. Dual-role accounts are a known gap rather than a deliberate restriction.
Changing role
Contact support if you registered as the wrong role. Do not create a duplicate account on the same email address.
